1800 Runsnew 'Attack Dog" 540?

Hi, I have a Pachanga 22' that I use as a lake boat. I have started to build this boat up into "project sleeper", it has an XR drive, Imco steering, Imco Exhaust, and I was planning on having a 500+ hp ( and a 2" shorty at that same time) motor built for it, BUT..

This 1800runsnew 540 attack dog with 550 hp for 7600.00 is very interesting to me. Just add a 800cfm carb and an edlebrock performer rpm manifold ( those are the parts they told me, the carb seems small…..but I am an outboard guy ) and my old accessories and away you go.... with a warranty.

My questions, has anyone bought one?. Do they last?.......and please no hearsay.

go back there has been alot of threads about it over the yrs do a search,, u will see.. seems if i recall was good feedback.

Call Laz at www.mesabalancing.com for quality 540 motors at a fair price or contact me for a set of used 500HP Mercs. Sometimes the cheapest is not the best buy.
