Anyone have the parts numbers for the springs and retainers?

How about installed height and pressure?

Thanks in advance!!!

Here's what the Mercruiser Service Manual shows for the HP500 valve springs- 150# on the seat with a 1.90 " installed height. 420# open spring pressure. Can't help with the part numbers.--Lou

Get Isky 8205 Plus springs. Titanium retainers and new locks from Doug Herbert.

Re: HP 500 carb spring recomendations

sre,
The springs for the HP 500 cam (#169611) are Crane part #99896.
132#@1.906"
414#@1.306"
Stack 1.085"
470 #/in.
Retainers #'s vary according to application.
As per infomaniac the Isky springs are good pieces.
It has been our experience that PSI springs are the finest springs on the market today. They supply many IRL, Cup, Busch, Truck, Pro Stock, etc. teams today and also manufacture the premium Tool Room line for Isky.
