Gaffrig Shifter adjustment???

Is there a way to adjust the friction of a gaffrig shifter? I disconected the cable and found that is only binding from neutral to reverse.

Re: Gaffrig Shifter adjustment???

You should be able to adjust it with an allen wrench from the top side. look thru the black rubber boot at the base of the handle for the tension adjusting set screw. It is basically a set screw which presses a nylon pad against the shaft. As the nylon wears, you have to tighten the set screw. The nylon pad can be replaced if it is worn out completely without disassembly of the unit.

Is there the same thing for the throttles? Mine seem hard to move, they have been that way since new.
