Is anyone using Mobile 1 75/90 in their bravos?
I bought some today to try and it looks very light. I have always used the merc green stuff, but decided to look into Mobile since that is what I use for the engine and the oil filters.

I'd like to try it myself. The tech guy in Powerboat magazine says this is definitely the way to go but I have reservations about mixing it with the residual amount of Mercrusier HP stuff that will remain in the drive after draining. The Mercrusier HP bottle warns not to mix the HP lube with their regular gear lube for some reason.

Mobil 1 75/90 is a GL-5 oil. A friend of mine is using it in his Bravo behind a whippled 502 with no problems so far. I use it in my DPX, but that is what Volvo uses as their synthetic drive oil, which they list as a high-performance oil.
