bravo 1 getting hot?

Just made a trip to grand bahama's, Trip took about 2 hour's each way. I have a heavy cruiser and ran about 4000 r.p.m all the way.when I got home I noticed the paint on the top of both drives was burnt. kind of chalky white. Drives only have about 100 hrs and I just changed the lube before the trip. drives are 1.5 and I am turning 19p mirage plus props. Is this normal or is something bad wrong? Thank you for any input, this is a great site.

Get some driver showers. Your boiling water on top of the drive thats not in the water.
Everyone gets that.
