Most time I have seen them is right on the tank with the fuel line attached to it.

The last one I saw was anti-siphon/hose bib all in one. When taken out there will be a ball in the middle of it.

Mine was on the top of my tank, right next to my fuel level float underneith an access panel in my floor. I doubt it is clogged but it is restrictive and your motor will start much easier without it.

Ok, Next Question. Is This Separate From The Pick Up Line Or Will I Need To Replace The Entire Piece?

Re: Anti-siphon Valve, Where Is It?

Should just be a screw-on fitting

How do you know it is clogged?

Re: Anti-siphon Valve, Where Is It?

I just had this same issue a couple of weeks ago. Mine was a combination anti-siphon/ hose bib screwed into the 90 degree fitting on the tank. It looked fine when I took it out, but I replaced it with an Evinrude/ Johnson factory replacement part. It's a quality brass unit, and the opening in the hose bib was a bit larger than the old aluminum one that was on my tank. Needless to say my stalling problem went away.:)

Re: Anti-siphon Valve, Where Is It?

Answer To, "how Do I Know It's Clogged?" Boat Started Dying On Acceleration With Fuel Pressure Dropping To Zero At 3000 Rpm. Pull Back To Idle And Fuel Pressure Picks Back Up To 7 Lbs. I Ran The Boat On The Trailer W/ Alternate Fuel Source To The Engine And It Ran Fine. Mechanic Says It's Either Debris In The Tank Clogging The Fuel Pick-up Or A Clogged Up Anti Siphon Valve. Thought I'd Try Replacing The Valve Before Trying To Figure Out How To Get 80 Gallons Of Gas Out Of My Tank To Look For Debris. I'm Open To Any And All Suggestions At This Point.

Re: Anti-siphon Valve, Where Is It?

When you check the valve, remove the pickup as well. The valve is usually screwed into a fitting on the pickup. While I was in there changing my valve, I removed the pickup to make sure it was clean, and I replaced the length of fuel hose going from the valve to the water separator (What the heck). I had the exact same problem, engine dying at rpm with no fuel pressure, but running fine on a 6 gallon can. I replaced that valve, and I've been fine ever since (at least the boat has!):)
