33 Outlaw Power

I am looking to get some more hp's from 496 MagHO's. It was suggested to change the chip and air filter. Is this worth it? I was thinking about a low boost pro charger - any thoughts. My brother has talked me out of an 03 Gladiator for now.

There are no chips in the ECM, it has to be reprogrammed and with stock motors its not worth the cost. As for air filters, forget that idea unless you boat in a lot of dirt!
I have not heard any good things about ProChargers on 496s with stock pistons, you might want to visit www.raylarengine.com.

Put a Whipple on it.

It is a top mount unit.Nice clean installation. There is a guy on my lake that has a sunsation with a 496 Whippled and he is running around 88 mph !!!!
