Is there different temp oil thermo for hp500?

The oil thermostat would have to be for a Mercury oil thermo unit.

I'm only aware of the 1 rating. Required oil temp is oil temp.

From your 1st post...... I 'believe' when I checked mine in hot water, it opened at 220*. Been a couple yrs ago.
