Re: Water Circulating Pump--How do I Test
Thanks for all the feedback regards this question.
I think I've broken the code. I hooked my RINDA tester up to MEFI and both guages are way off !!! The engines according to MEFI are running at 158 and 163. The COOLER engine per MEFI is showing higher on the analog dash guage--175; the warmer engine per the MEFI is showing 150 on the analog guage. I'm gonna order replacement LIVORSI REd Line Guages and see what the outcome is. In general I've been disappointed in the Livorsi gauges frm the get/go.. THye fog up, alway condensate under lenses and don;t read steady on consistent basis. Film at 11-- Poorsche www.boatmat.com |
Re: Water Circulating Pump--How do I Test
Poorsche, Alot of good advice here from all of the above except for 1 individual. To save the expense of gauges try a reasonable maunual gauge from summit 1st on each engine to verify. Or better yet if you can can your hands on laser pointer digitable thermometer(aka infared heat gun), they work mint! They cost about $100. and is the best toy to have.
Tempest has a problem with people becuase he is restoring an older Bayliner and can not get parts for it. "Articfriends" saw him on the interstate towing a hobycat with an '81 chevette so pay no nevermind to him or her. He's probably a cross dresser and not sure which way he wants to go! |
