Prop advice/5 blade
 

I have a 98 Fountain Fever 27 with a stock 502/415 mpi. Currently running the stock bravo 4 blade (I do not know what the specs are...as I am new to prop boats). At best it will run 68mph on the speedo at 5100. I am looking at 5 blades to get some better mid throttle cruise and not affect the top end. The only mods I have planned are new exhaust manifolds barring any major malfunctions. Any advise would be helpful. :)

evilkevin, you currently have the best prop on your boat,The five blade will slow you down.It will give you nice cruising speed but your stock four blade can be labbed for addtional mid range speeds and addtional top end speeds,let me know if we can help out.

dido....your x-dim is too low...work your 4 blade.
