CMI braided hose question
 
the id of #16 hose is .88 will this fit over the 1" bung on the CMI header?
I measure the hose on the stock 500 hp stufff and it measured 1" id cant find this in braided I would like to use the good stuff and not use the covers

I use # 16 braided on my Lightning header, I don't remember the size but I did have to neck it down to fit.

It's not high pressure, even merc uses covers for thiers. You'll have to use a cover style hose clamp end anyway. Either use covers, or weld in an S/S JIC fitting, or weld a bung to tap and use a NPT to JIC fitting on the header.

I've got a 38 Hustler here with that setup I will look at it in the morning.
