502 Mag EFI vs TBI

I recently bought a Whipple Supercharger online and the installation instructions are for 454/502 Magnum TBI. The Supercharger came off a 1998 502 Supertine Belt with Meth 1. I want to install it on a 2000 502 Serpentine Belt with a Meth 3. The Supercharger came with an extra Meth 3 computer that was calibrated at Whipple. I'm not sure the difference between EFI and TBI or if they are the same thing? Any info would be appreciated.
