GPS With speedo attachment

Just curious to see what is the best GPS system to buy?
I was going to attain a new speedometer and also buy a GPS.
The speed o's are offered guage only!
So why buy a speed o and then get an antenna and reciveing unit, cable and what ever else needed to run the speedo and not review a gps system that can operate the speed O ??????
What GPS system would be the best to get that would tie in to my new speedometer??

While you are at it, some of the GPS systems have an input for a camera. Mount one in the engine compartment or one off the transom. Cool.
