Flushing drive pumps

Last time out I lost a mounting bolt for my trim tab. Water in the bilge :(
Bilge pumps kept up for the most part while running back to the dock, but once sitting they did not. water got in the trim pump resiviors :(

What is the best way to flush them? Water is already milky.
Thinking about unbolting the hoses on the rames and hooking up a line from the compressor. Small amount of pressure, under 20lbs and back flushing this way. Anyone else have a better way?
