Re: ITS steering

ITS ( Integrated Transom System ) is external,
full hydraulic hydraulic steering.

It also has 7" of additional setback ( extension box)

ITS is more than just hydraulic steering. It is one of the hottest trick things that mercury has done in along time & is a really slick set up. If you are considering a sport boat & can afford it you should definitely get it. One thing to consider is the motor? I would not put ITS on a standard engine package only the HP500's or higher. I do not think with a 496ho or less it is needed.

The ITS is definetly a cleaner installation.

They both accomplish the same thing.

My only dislike with the ITS, is that they
didn't give it as much set back as what
an imco or stellings box has.
