MSD Marine Engine Protector

Anyone have any experience with these? If so, I am interested in what you have to say about them.

Re: MSD Marine Engine Protector

Are you referring to a Rev Limiter ? If so I have ran one for ten years with no problems, although I guess that I have not ever wound the engine to the limiter I have 6600 rpm module for my small block.

Re: MSD Marine Engine Protector

Rob- this is sort of an "add on" limiter that works like (I assume) an MSD soft touch- just for a non-MSD ignition set up. I have "zinged" my power a couple of times in really rough water and they don't have limiters on them.
