who builds the best complete motor for 20k? Looking for n/a, reliable and in the 600 hp range.

tommy @ chief has 2 540 efi motors 800hp he's is asking 20 but may be willing to come down a bit pretty sure he'll sell just one of them. give him a call. he has niec stuff...

Is complete running with fuel and ignition systems? Or mounts accessories exhaust wiring etc.?

You could buy the gm 572,buy a killer set of headers,re-cam it with a cam ideal for your application,buy a nice xr coupler and still have some change left over :D

Bigyellowcat, that thing is georgeous!!!! Do you build your own stuff? Just wondering cause I am also in the market for a pair of motors in the 600hp range.

I am selling 2 complete HP500 carb motors. Fresh with ZERO hours. Rebuilt by GS Marine. They also have CMI exhaust on them. They will be completed in 2 weeks and won't last long!!

The only thing not going with the motors is engine mount(s), bell housing(s) and power steering reservoir...I'm pretty sure that's all. I need to check with GS marine. the reason I say that is because my boat has a full stagger, and some of the parts (listed above) were custom made for the boat and need to stay with it.

Dont want to try and outdo anyone here, but I also have 2- 500 hp carbed Mercs that are being rebuilt as we speak and are complete with Gil exhaust, mounts and evrything else complete for under $20k.

Also, Give Rick a call at Innovation Marine in Sarasota. They have some 600hp efi engines with Eikert exhaust for $18k a piece. Im repowering my boat with a couple of these babys in the upcoming weeks
