Plug trim tab hole
I have a trs drive and on my drive shaft housing there is a plug that is described as "plug, trim tab hole". Anyway, my plugs are missing and I noticed that there is water sitting in that hole. I don't know how much water that hole holds but I am concerned about how to drain that hole. Also, what is the purpose of that hole. In the winter the water in that hole may freeze and cause damage. What should I do ? Please Advise?

Re: Plug trim tab hole
Loosen the 3/8" allen screw that hold the trim anode and the water will drain. :)
BTW, trim the drives all the way in to get all of the water out. The screw is located deep down in that hole. |
