bravo one drive resivoirs

I'm thinking about putting gear lube resivoirs on my bravo ones. They are 1999's and have the port for the resivoir but my boat doesn't have them. Can anyone tell me where I can get them and how hard they would be to install. Thanks Scott

Are you sure you have '99 transom assemblies? Because they did not use a gear lube reservoir on the 1988 (first year) Bravo drives.

My guess is that you have the '88 transom assemblies. If you had the newer ones and there was no lube res. connected you would have gear lube in the bilge.

...unless the lube hose inside the boat was plugged.

I agree with Biggus. If you had a spot for them and no res. you would have the lube spilling out.

The tube is probably blocked off like mine are. I'm interested in putting a res. on also. I think all you need is a oil res, and hook up the tubing.

If they are 88's, I can show you how to connect res. up to them.

I have a black tube that is blocked off screwed to my transom. I'll bet that is what it is for. I always wondered. So if I connect a reservoir to it. it will probable work. I'll check it out on monday. Thanks for the help, and the web site. Scott
