Question about a Flame Arrestor!

I dont want to make a fool of myself or sound stupid, but do you have to have a blower motor to have a flame arrestor?!?

If not would this flame arrestor fit on a 502 magnum efi: http://www.trickmarine.net/productde...?productid=143

If it does fit how much work is it to put one on, and the process

Thanks alot for your help guys, sorry for the stupid questions.

That one that Fred has says it is for a 500 HP. They use a different system of mounting than your 502 Mag does. Just give Fred a call, and he will set you up with the right one.

Is it hard to put on? Not IMHO, but it depends on how good you are with a wrench. Its 4 bolts, IIRC. Take one off, put the new one on.

Do you have any pictures of where it would mount on a 502 Mag, or a picture of one that would work on a 502 mag.

Thanks for your help!

Just trying to learn some little things so hopefully I can get my dads boat or buy a used boat when im older :)
