Low Mount Alt. & P/S Pump Location

Any ideas on mounting brackets for the Alternator and P/S pump. Motor is BBC (Dart block, single engine) with CMI's. The stock brackets hit the headers. I've found the low mount alternator bracket, but who makes a power steering pump bracket that will relocate the pump and/or where to relocate the pump. The motor will be running "V" belts, and the stock Merc sea water pump in stock location.

Thanks-
Chris

Re: Low Mount Alt. & P/S Pump Location

Do the brackets hit the CMIs or just the PS pump? I run the v-belts with my CMIs and used a shorter PS belt to move the PS pump.

I think IMCO has something that might work.

I would try Trick Marine or CP Performance as they are advertisers here.

Stock Merc bracket causes the alt. to hit the headers and the water feeds. I looked at the IMCO bracket for the alt. but they don't make one to reposition the P/S pump. The P/S pump is a Saginaw.

I had the same problem with my CMI Sport Tubes. I got an IMCO low mount P/S / Alt. bracket and it works very well.
