Huber transmission flange question?

Are the transmission flanges on a huber 1450 all the same for #6 driveshafts, And how can you tell difference between plug in and driveshaft models visually? Does the plug in style not have a flange?

Re: Huber transmission flange question?

The plug in style does not have a flange (and it is not possible to convert styles either way), a tailstock that plug into the transom assembly is bolted directly to the transmission.

The drive-line style can accept any number of output flanges and yokes.

New 6's come with a Spicer 1480 series flange, it is about 6" OD, early 6's and 3,4& 5's use a 1350 series, about 5" OD.

DId this help?

Re: Huber transmission flange question?

I think that the flange on #6 packages has the hole patterns for both 1480 and 1410. If you bolt up a 1410 you install a 1/4" thick adapter plate to adapt the change in pilot diameters.
