I can 't find anyone who has tried this on baja my boat chine walks over 70 mph and if its snotie out it seams to go nose high I have 647hp k planes mayfair steering not full; props 25 m 26lab bravo I'M think drive being deep is whats making the boat handle ****ty I want to do acouple races this year p5 ,I did the cape race two yrs ago broke my bolsters :( so the last 2 years I ;M working ON IT A LITTLE THIS year has sucked got hurt at work comp dinied my claim for 8 mons I had both knees operated on this summer. anyway I'll know in a couple of weeks if I win my money back and get to work soon so I want to try the shortie to see if it helps

Good question,i'm running fairly big power in a 272 baja and it will only get up into the 80's if you trim it to moon, full hyd steering helped. I was told by local performance marine shop that a guy put one on a 25 outlaw with 700hp and it sucked,made it hard to get on plane and handled worse but haven't personally experienced it,i wanted to try one but couldn't see spending the money if it probably won't work,Smitty
