procharged hp500efi or whippled 540 carb
 

I am have a Whippled 540 carb'd built with all of the good internals and have found a boat that has a Procharged Hp500 EFI...which is a better setup? Is it worth doing a swap and putting the 540 in? What could I sell the Hp500 and procharger for?

Theres no replacement for displacement,i'd go and have gone for the cubic inches myself(blown 540 in my own boat,started out with blown 502),Smitty

Take the HP500 back to stock configuration. Rebuid it if need be, and preserve it in the corner of your garage with receipts. Save it for when you want to sell the boat; with a fresh, stock motor. Sell the Pro-Charger separately. Its much easier to sell a fresh stock motor'd boat than a supercharged questionable motor'd boat.

:D this is whalt julies, miss nor-tec- put it cumpturs are neet stuf , but when you brake, you going to get out your laptop to trubble shute. a dum carb, anyone can figger it out
