Carb Advice needed, Please
I just purchased a set of 572 ci engines. They are approx 1050 HP with the 871 Blowers and intercoolers. There are 2 850 worked Nickerson carbs on each. I just purchased 2 new 14-71's and intercoolers. What carbs do I need to move up to? I was thinking about going to Demon but not sure which ones or if that's my best option. I saw Bigsperformance has some Hollys (the link is below). Can someone tell me my best options. Second, What are my Nickersons worth. The person I got them from said each one has $500 worth of work done to them. I am lost when it comes to this stuff. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

There should be some numbers stamped on your Nickerson carbs. Call Dean and tell him what they are. He likely set the existing carbs up to that engines specs. Now tell him what changes you have made and sent him the carbs. Four carbs is going to cost some money!
