exaust mods for 27 datona hp500 ?????
 

I'm building a 05 27' datona with a new hp500 and the dealer is telling me that exaust mods should cost about 2000.00 They say after the motor is installed they have to have the pipes custom made from the tips to the manifolds. Does this sound right? Thanks

Are you saying $2000 total for exhaust and according to them, custom built and fit?? If so, wow, that's cheap! :eek:

Jim, 2k fjust for the piece between the tips and the end of the cmi manifolds.

Ok, I knew it had to be but wanted to make sure. :D IN that case, it sounds high, but I'm don't have any direct experience with it so I'll defer to the next post. (the pressure is on... :drink: )

Sounds a little high. I payed that much in Canadian dollars to make tail pipes for a 25 daytona / hp 500efi last year.
