Which blower system is the best???
 

Hi!

Just wanted to ask the experts here on the board about what blower would be the best for 496 HO, 500 EFI and 525 EFI?? Look like Gaffrig has a charger which is efficient and easy to mount... Are there any bad sides with these blowers? Why have the 575 SCI and bigger the top mounted blowers, while the add-on ones most often is side mounted?

Gaffrig blower=no innercooler :( ,i dont care what they say,innercooler is a must!!

Vortech installed by AZ Speed & Marine. They built the programs for Vortech to re-map the computers. Whipples are sanitary as well, if you can find someone experienced to install either one you should be ok. They've both seemed to work out all the bugs associated with the install. I'm partial to AZSM though, they sell both and you see wich one I went with.
Gaffrig who? Didn't they get there name for selling gauges made by Lavorsi? I notice they dont sell them anymore, wonder why..........

In used PROCHARGERS for my 496ho's they are intercooled from the start.Ran them hard all year no complaints here

Are there any problems with stock head gaskets with whipples running 7PSI Boost? If any one has any info on this I would certainly appreciate it.

I guess it depends if you have your ecm programed right. If it detonates it will push them out. I here 50/50. I would at least put the felpros or go to the MLF . Ck out my thread , they look like they will hold up.They say that the Nascar guys are using them also.

Look at the first pick I had a FelPro head gasket starting to blow because the surfaces where no flat , ck out the last page for a pick of the metal head gaskets.
