Cleaning aluminum intake
 
What is the best way to clean a aluminum intake? It has some small stains from gas or oil.

Prior to installation shoot it with a couple coats of cear coat .5 bucks at your local auto parts store. Also crc spray really cleans effortlesslly.

Eagle one aluminum wheel and mag cleaner.It works unreal on an aluminum intake.It looks brand new after using it.

muratic acid, wash thoroughly with suds, air dry, shoot with VHT high temp clear in multiple THIN coats...it won't yellow.

I degrease `em and then bead blast them.

I thought of that but I thought he was looking for the in the driveway fixup. By all means bead blast and then clear if you have the means.
