Just wanted to see what other options are out there. Always open to new ideas, I'm not running M2 heads.

Sorry GPM, I thought you were running the M2's. So what heads are you running and do you have an estimate as to how much HP it takes to turn blower at 15 lbs of boost on a 598 at say a marine friendly 6500 RPM? I have heard it takes about 800 HP to turn the blowers on Top Fuel cars at WOT!!!! What about different blowers in this application? Which is the least parasitic? Turbos don't rob as much as blowers right? I would imagine at these power levels this becomes a factor!!

I did run the M2 BB2 xtra at one time, I switched to the Big Duke just to see if they lie about the extra power, they don't. I only have experience with the procharger, and I can only guesstimate from dyno hp and fuel consumption on the data logger. I calculated about 235 hp to run the blower. I'm sure the turbo would be more efficiant, I don't know how the water jacketed turbo would spool, and would it just rip the lower unit off the boat.

A garden variety 600cc Jap sportbike fits the bill at 115hp and 36 cubes.

And easy? Walk in and sign your name. That's pretty easy.

Eliminator's/Bob Leach's 572's were 1500hp @15 lbs boost. Quad Whipple EFI.

I guess you could put 10 or 12 of them in a boat, might be a tight squeeze, and a little difficult to hook up.
