What are the lowest profile flame arrestosr? I have hatch Clarence issues... any pics would also be appreciated.

I found a Gaffrig 10" dia. with a 2" tall element and it's 3" tall over all height. I have the same problem.

Well maybe his hatch is named Clarence. And Clarence has issues with clearance.
That would be a "fame arrestor," because you can get famous running around with a hatch named clarence bouncing on the flame arrestors.


But seriously... Too Old had some stuff on Trick Marine and I saw some low profile ones when I was searching "Flame Arrestor" on the net.

Another option would be to cut a hole in just the hatch and not the upholstery. CP has a box that can be put in the hole to gain clearance. You just remove some of the padding. Might not be your cup of tea, but is another option.
