I was at my Buddy's machine shop and this piston had a new bung hole :eek: These easy money guys had leaned on it and detonated the motor so it started burning oil in 3 & 7 so they thought the NOS was rich in those holes because it was blacking those plugs , so they leaned out the those 2 holes .Ooops . Another DumbA$$.dot com guys. the funny thing the car had data acquisition and exhaust temps .

What I thought was weird the piston looks like it only maybe .250 think on the top .Thin :eek: The guy that builds there engines{he has spares] is a X Nascar engine builder .

I guess the piston is in the upper 400 grams

Ck out the replacement . Oh yea they started ordering the spare piston in set of 10 :eek:

That's a superlight piston. I like the aluminum block. Tell us about the engine. :cool:

Not much of a skirt, pin is in the oil ring, gas porting, the valve reliefs look kind of canted(big azz too).. hmmmmm..I'd guess stroker small block? Do tell! :D

Big /big block made around 1300hp.I will try to get some more picks and info. :D

Looks as though thr head gasket was a problem below the bore. water may have intensified the problem?
