Volvo Penta QL Boat Trim system
 

Yesterday I was a a dutch boat show where Volvo penta introduced the new QL Boat Trim system. I saw some facts and a test movies, amazing. Has anyone experience with this system ?

I as well has tried to find more information about these and all I have found is a short review in a Norwegian magazine http://www.baat.aller.no/baatweb/bm....d?OpenDocument that states that it is "easy to use, easy to mount and has fast response". Also, I found a German magazine http://www.boote-magazin.de/bto/boot...4&artikel=long
but my German is so bad so I didn't understand their outcome other than that the QL Trim System is as efficient as traditional tabs but maybe they should have had a double mount on the boat they tested on (Bavaria 37 S, 8000 kg, with twin 248 hp turbo diesel).

It is so strange that I cannot find any opinions on these trim tabs. It starts to feel almost like a hoax...
