Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Any one know of a good product for cleaning the upholstery (white)!!!

Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Wesleys Bleach White. Rinse well with water, try to avoid stiching.
Mr. Clean Erasers - Excellent for tough spots that nothing else will clean. Most dealers/mfgs recommend acetone and thinners. There are safer, less aggressive cleaners out there available from any marine/auto store. These are for the really tough jobs. |
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
GoJo original hand cleaner. Work it in let it sit and wipe off with a clean cloth. :p

Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
If Wesleys will work than how about Clorox cleaner with bleach. (not the actual Clorox bleach) The one that comes in a bottle like 409 or Fantastic. I found it works real well with a soft brush but stay away from your carpet.

Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Formula's web site suggests rubbing alcohol.
|
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Most grocery stores,Walmart and I think home depot carry the erasers. You should pick up a couple and try them around the house...they are awesome.

Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Softscrub with bleach works well on most stains and is easy to control where you want it.
Mr. Eraser works well for the tougher stains or marks. |
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Zippo Lighter Fluid Is Good To Remove Spots/grease Etc. Use On A Small Area To Remove The Spot, Rinse With Soap And Water Then Use A Protectant With Av Protection.

Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
I use Clorox cleaner with bleach. 6 yrs and no problems with the stitching. Spray it on, scrub a little to get superclean and dry with towel.
|
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
I've tried everything. Meguiers is the best by far.
|
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Before you try anything harsh, try Murphy's Oil Soap. It has worked well for me and should not hrm fabric or stitching. If that does not work you haven't ruined anything and can try something else.

Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
I had a boat with a mostly white interior that had mildewed some. I used Full Timer's Choice R.V. black streak remover. It worked EXCELLENT!!! It also cleans the hull very well..
You can get it pretty cheap at wal-mart in their automotive/rv section. Doug |
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Mcguires spray blue bottle upholstry cleaner/conditioner.
I also agree with Wesley's white tire cleaner. |
Re: Vinyl upholstery cleaner
Wesleys is magic stuff---it's a little tough on the finish on vinyl but it's a sure thing on Stainless steel, starboard, bilges, aluminum, it will celan anything--
