Hydraulic Line Repair

Hi Guys,

Noticed that a line for my Lathem steeing is weeping a little. I have not worked with hydraulic lines before. It appears to be the twist-on type. Is it as simple as twisting it off, cut it down a little and twist back on?

Some are just like AN fittings. Hold the inner with a wrench and undo the other with another wrench.

Cutting the hose is the hard part in the boat. Wrap tape around it and use a skill saw or sawz all. Should cut it clean enough. Try to get the particles out before reassembling.
