Fred,
I ask again.... My Merc pump has the back of the housing with 90* fittings that point downward to clear my Stef's Oil pan. Do you have a solution for that? Thanks Dick |

Trying to install mine right now and having same issues. Did you guys use the stainless wear plate between new pump and pulley housing? If you were to do it again would you drill out like ..Lightning did or try to cut and drill like P4 did?

I remember having some of the same minor issues when I installed mine. I ended up rotating mine to an angle that fits, which required drilling new mounting holes. Not precision machining, but some trial and error. It clears my mechanical fuel pump and my gil oil pan and still has enough adjustment to remove and tighten the belt. So far mine has worked great!
