motors are still in. tops are off. debating going all the way. new cyclinder heads are eating up my rebuild budget :mad:

I agree...
I helped a friend redo the top of his 1994 454mag last year. New cam and lifters are like $160 from GM performance parts. He went with the 218°/228° rather than replacing the 220°/220°... :drink:
