Just got a call from Augie Pensa. He asked me to wish his deepst condolences on behalf of all the guys down in Miami. Most of them hadn't heard what happened. They did not have access to a computer.

I learned of this terrible news last night. Eric was a friend and fellow racer. I remember his first year of racing all driving up to the Cleveland race together and how much fun we had. Eric and I would always rival each other on who was going to beat who. I contacted some of his friends in Marathon, for they had not heard yet. This is so sad.
My prayes for friends and family.
