the Instigator that ran in KW was a new one...which was turned into a poker run boat and sold. there NEW 42 gets it debut this weekend...

39 or 40 boats started the race, about half finished it! Wind southeast at about 18, waves seemed to be 5+, a lot of boats broke down in the first 2 laps.
There was good racing and lots of BIG AIR. The new Instigator ran well, as did Taboo, Rodriguez. Muscle and Lucas had a great contest going until Lucas ........disappeared?
Sorrry, no pics, too much wind , coouldnt hold camera steady enough. Hope someone can post results soon.

I hope this does not appear too naive...

When I was a Unlimited Hydroplane groupy they always had an announcers booth for the fans. Included as a member of the booth team was a representative of the Unlimited group (at that time Hydro-Prop).

His task among others was to hook up with their phone line and provide via the internet up to date/real time info to those eargerly waiting back home/fans that couldnt make the race.

Was this ever considered by the OFFshore people. In his time not actualy on line he would run around and take photos and post them along with his text of events..

Any thoughts??

yes GDfatha, this is what i did last week in Biloxi, un-official results were called in to DPT, he then posted on the board, after the races i downloaded pics. it is quite simple, if i had wireless in the room i would have given direct results and pics. this is very disappointing.
