Thanks, Kirk |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Hi Chris,
The Surf & Sand is fine. If you would like to stay there, let me know anticipated check in, number of people in your group and departure day. I'll see what I can do for you. TomR (508)237-3326 |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Hi Kirk,
Try this link: www.yarmouthcapecod.com or www.capecodchamber.org The race will be best viewed from any one of the beaches from Smugglers beach down toward the Red Jacket Resort. |

Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
anyone know if its worth being out in the spectator fleet - could you get close enough to see anything last year?
|
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Hi Chris,
There will be designated areas for spectator boats. There shouldn't be any trouble seeing the action. I'm going to make sure!! :D They will probably have viewing on the outside leg from about mid course down to turn 3. This is my guess but is probably what will be the case. |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Tom,
how long of a ride from here (Jersey)??..leaving Friday am..just wanna have an idea.. Marty |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Do any of the hotels have beaches that you can watch the race from? Thanks
Kirk |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Hi Marty,
On a good day with no traffic, I can make Brick from my house in Harwich in just under 5hrs. Thats running in the very early morning hours. What we have started doing when we head out to go racing is leaving the house 1:30 and 2AM , this allows us to avoid any traffic. Your biggest challenge in regards to traffic is getting past NYC, after that it's not to bad....except the occasional slow down on Rt.95 in CT!! |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
Kirk,
Yes, there are Hotels with Beaches that you could watch the race from. There is the Best Western Blue Water Resort or the Surf & Sand both on South Shore Drive. |
Re: Cape Cod Itinerary
