Blue Water Offshore Racing Association will host all of the racing. Race control will again be Bob Currier and officials from the Great Lakes Silver Cup Series have volunteered to assist. This is a great site with acres of spectator viewing for free. Everything is centrally located with easy access.
OPA in agreement with BWORA has decided to offer a one event registration for $250 per boat and $50 per riding member. Entry for the performance classes will be $600 and includes TV coverage.

Augie, you guys from out there talk funny and whats this about veggies?? We are looking forward to The Jerzy Boyz hitting town. The only protection you will need is from falling off of a stool. You can take this up with our Mr. Smith this weekend. He should just about be there.

I might be WAY out of line here but with OPA & the GLSCS support of OSS at the St Clair race, and no race schedule for SBI/APBA- UIM on that weekend. Also the LEOPA so close by. Mybe consideration of this event being a( 5 star) race. Via the following week there is the SBI/APBA-UIM event in Washington NC. with no OSS or OPA or GLSCS event schedule with hopes this race could be turned into a( 5 Star) event. Like I said before I could be way out of line here. Jo

Hey Joey, NOTHING is impossible! Steve "VIG" not veg, big difference! A vig is something you pay out ABOVE and BEYOND what the original $$$ amount is...or else? Can't wait to come up there. YOUR Ed Smith was great company this past weekend. See ya soon Steve. Augie

Isn't it average speeds now, maybe P-5 would be better???

Re: St. Clair Michigan race

Oui, you don't get to pick the class. The inspector will do that for you. Class is determined by prop pitch, gear ratio and RPM limits.

They'll figure it out for you. Just bring a 4 and a 5.

LEOPA is having their big summer poker run the same weekend (Saturday) out of Monroe Boat Club.

Re: St. Clair Michigan race

MM I just saw an opportunity for the possibility to have two unified events without titles or championships just boats racing (I know all the rules don't jell) Possible set different starts I don't know!, key here is boat count and seeing friends .Ma by leagues would give cross over teams a waver of boat registration just entrance fee and visa versa. With OSS lead in MI and SBI lead in NC. This is just a thought, I miss not seeing my friends because of politics. LEOPA is in MI that weekend also hence more performance Boat in that area. If the run is Sat they may be able to attend the race on Sun. Jo

Augie, I really know what " Vig " is, racers and sites were paying it to a certain race org for years. Anyhow, come on to St. Clair. We'll negotiate!!!
What is OPA's opinion about waving membership money for some of these other racers as posted above?? It looks like we are going to have a good turn out. Steve

Mark, under what authority or experience are your comments coming from? Mine were a humorous exchange with somebody coming to race in St. Clair. As this will be BWORA's 11th consecutive race, I think that we are doing alright. Steve

Re: St. Clair Michigan race

Mark, I thought these were you buddies in your neck of the woods.

Not that it matters, but you make it sound like you don't support this race or the efforts of your local racing friends.

What's the dealio?

Re: St. Clair Michigan race

Mark, I'm playing with Steve as he is with me. I couldn't get a Vig from Offshore Racing even if I did send a car to their homes...It's just not there but a little Humor and fun to go along with what everyone is trying to do here I'm all for it. Now I don't know Steve, I have no idea what's gone on up in your neck of the woods and it's none of my business. OPA is coming up to do a Divisional Race, OSS would like to join us and we're gonna have a party. Smitty and I along with Ed Smith from Traffic Light are trying to get Racing back BIG on The North East and how ever we can do it we will. Give us a hand Mark! Thanks, Augie

I know Bro., but that's none of my business. We want to move forward and try to get as many Divisional crews as we can out there. I want to get you out there if we could. Tyler, GET THE BOAT READY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
