Well.I didn't know talkoffshore went down. I've listening to ESPN,thinking they were just taking a break. Are they coming back online?

Rain Delay, First Race Red Flagged at 5 laps for OSSVL and 6 laps for OSSCOB.

Talkoffshore Feed is coming from the broadcast room at the race site.

Feed went down for a few because they moved the equipment out of the rain. They were on the roof of Lani Kai.

To the best of my knowledge they are under rain delay. The feed is still live from the broadcast room at the race site so I guess they are still on.

Fresh off the wire service from Cape Cod

In P1 the 51' Turbine powered Outerlimits was running away with the race until they spun it out in a turn ending thier day.

P3 - Wazzup was the overall winner besting even the P1 cats like Traffic light and Lightning Jacks that broke down.

P4 - Augie in Nesquik won

P5 - Best race of the day - Sonic Boom, Papa Dukes and another boat ran side by side. I didn't get the winner. Sorry.

Photos, good question. I'm home this weekend for a wedding. I feel like I'm playing hooky from work.

Phantom was that shot from Biloxi or today? Great photo.

Wild Ride, doesn't suprize but Mini Me never finished so high and Imco is a brand new team. What happened to Wild Card? And the new SVL High Noon?

Wild Card broke early. The picture was of one of the other times they spun - don't know which one. It sounded like a good SVL race until the red flag.

Just got a short call regarding SS boats in Marathon. Huge news, Racing Frenzy smoked the field. Hulk and Mapei had a photo finish (not sure of result yet) for second/third. I believe that would make the mighty Hanna-Beckley team fourth. Deep V Cats had motor problems, took fifth. Team Allen Christie sixth. That's all I know and I won't sign anything. SQ

Yes it's seems to be clearing, they have CG approval till 6:30 or so. Martin should be on before 4:00 with an update.

Typhoon was running a strong second, 100 yards behind Wild Ride. WHM looked great but finished 1/4 mile behind the winner when the raced was stopped due to HEAVY rain.
As far as the SS boats go, "Pour it On" worked their way from 4th to second place passing "Berry Cuda" and "Loan Shark", pretty impressive for this older boat! One wonders if the race went the full lenght if they could have caught "MOJO"?
I left after waiting two hours during the rain delay, I don't know if the Supercats and Super V's will race later-still raining... :(

Very interesting results in OB/SS. Sounds like the 30's are still heavily in the running. There has been much conversation about the dominance of the 32's in the Super Stock class. Today they did not dominate. Congrats to Team Racing Frenzy and Team Mojo. SQ

great coverage guy's. Thank's to all the teams for there effort's,
special thank's Dave, John & the staff of OSO for stepping up
and making the live stream happen!! Can't wait for the next

Good question, along with Motley Crew and Ettore???? I wonder if there was breakage or these guys just really did there homework. Good to see other teams getting a piece of the prize. Makes for better racing.

Just back from the Cape Sonic Boom didn't finish but them and two other boats had one hell of a race going on for a while I was the the corner boat in turn 3 and heard his motor start popping and then quit. A 26 Sutfin won the P-5 class.....Wazzup won the p-3.........Nesquik won the P-4.........Green Light won the P-1. Will post pics soon.

I heard there were 37 boats in Marathon with 9 SVs.

Exceptional boat count on a day with questionable weather and two other MAJOR races taking place.
What if all of US were to show up in Sarasota and make it a monster event. A Key West for the Fourth of July. The boat race fans of Sarasota certainly deserve it. The infrastructure and parties are in place to support it. No question (most of) the racers deserve it. Say we forget all politics and allegiances, close the complaint department for a few days, put boats in the water a few bucks on the bar and get it on. I'm a dreamer? SQ

Will be huge. Very possible to see 13 boats in Super Stock alone. Muscle party, Worlds Largest Offshore party, Pig Roast post parade party in the pits. Worlds largest Offshore Boat Parade (bring beads). Our goal should be to get EVERY non-cry baby Team with a functioning race boat to Sarasota. SQ
