Re: The "Wolverine" reborn
If I remember correctly Pete Smith was the original owner. There were alot of those mirages back then, Wolverine, Li'l Smigen, Li'l Rhino, LaSalle, lil Abner, Belmont steaks.

Re: The "Wolverine" reborn
wow thats nice... whats the story with the bullet?????
|
Re: The "Wolverine" reborn
7 Mile & Gratiot area not the best of neighborhoods in the D. We think it happened During New Years Celebrations.
"Someone shot a bullet in the air...where it landed I know right where!!!" Lee - You are correct. We took it over to Wolverine Bronze, to show the Smith boy's. Paul (Pete's son) is a good friend of ours. We still see the Li'l Abner going in and out of Metro. You going to the party Saturday? The boat will be there. |
Re: The "Wolverine" reborn
I remember "Wolverine" and "Lil Rhino" racing in Lake St Clair, in the late 70's.

Re: The "Wolverine" reborn
Lee, the boat never had Ford Power

Re: The "Wolverine" reborn
Maybe it was Silver Streak that had Fords in it. I'll be at Bob's on Saturday, looking forward to seeing it.
