Not only did they win in P3, but hopped in the new SV with very little seat time and took a very impressive 3rd in Super V against some seriously seasoned competition.
Watch out Super V's, when they get used to running a canopied boat, not to mention a stepped hull boat at that, victory will be soon to follow.
I was going to say that when they learned the boat, they will be a force to recon with, but they already are in there first run in the boat :drink:

Smitty. Had fun testing on Saturday with you. It was great to run and take the corners side by side in testing . Like all woman we want it to last longer.. I had a blast. To bad for the barge coming in.. Hope to race with you again real soon.. . We lost the prop and drive at he very end of the last lap and had to get towed in.. Great running boat you have.. Lisa, we owe that run to you. Saturday was the first time we had run the boat, or any canopy for that matter. All morning we were running the turns and could not get a handle on it. When you came out we were hoping to be able to run along with someone just to see if we were even close. Those couple of laps made all the difference. Just a little confindence builder. The start was an experience my son and I will remember for a long time. Thanks, see ya soon, Smitty.

And while we were idling in off the course and watching the race who do we see but Eddie and Sticks in 2nd place wright on Spidermans a$$. The next lap they go by us and we saw Eddie look over at us with this gleam in his eye and waved to us. Man was that exciting to see them do so well on there first spec class race against some really good teams.

Congrats Smitty....thats a great showing being a lot of those teams have been racing in that class for years...and your first race in a SV....look at it this way....you can only get faster and better so it looks tlike second could be the worse you can do....look foward running aginst you guys....
