Washington NC Race
First of all, I want to thank SBI, APBA, and all the medical personnel for their help with my injuries. As my brother stated earlier, we never told anyone we ran a lap speed of 50 to 55. That was only in the turns and then we stroked it from pin to pin. When we barely hooked in first lap, I injured my left arm and shoulder. Luckily it wasn't my throttle arm and, yes, it hurt like Hell every lap.
As a rookie, I look up to all the racers; especially those in the so-called "feeder class." If anyone stopped before crossing the finish line, I hope you asked Keith for permission to use the bathroom. There is a race in Panama City this weekend. How about all the P-4's that are running show up and let's have fun. I'll be there. Also, I heard a rumor that SBI will be offering some unclaimed trophies on E-Bay. What's the "Buy it Now" price? Re: Washington NC Race
Jimmy, SBI/APBA always do a great job with their medical team, I know first hand from NYC last year. I want to let everyone know that it was MY misunderstanding in what Jimmy and Robert said about their speeds. They went 55 MPH around the turns and 70/75 on the straight away's. They earned that trophy and CONGRATS to both of you. NOW, WHO'S COMING TO PLAY WITH JUNKYARD JAMES, ROBERT, BERT, MANWHORE and THE GODFATHER in Panama City, Fl. This weekend? Come on guy's, it's FLAT water AGAIN!
