Cambridge's Race Date was set since last year's race day.
They run it the same weekend every year. No surprise there! Poker Run Saturday Race on Sunday. And no, I don't believe anyone expects ALL boats to be in MD, but rest assured, the Boyz will be in MD. After this past weekend, the Boyz now know who they can trust when they say they will be coming to race with them. 'Nuff said! |

Hey guys, it's all fine. I talked to John C. about it and he had a commitment to EC from the APBA merger. He had to fit it in somewhere and he did the best he could. I'm kinda sorry they did it that way because I would have been happy to go down and support the new site. Next year there will be no conflict between the races.

Sorry to the Jersey Boys and OPA....We want to support OPA and want to do some of your races being that a lot of you guys are doing the same.....but we had scheduled the E.C. race last year when working with the C.G. and we have to be there....we also have some sponsorship there....
Sorry guys..but will see what others we can do... I know Pop had been working with the Elizabeth City JC's for a long time and I think they were even at the meeting in Atlanta in Jan. they really want Offshore racing in there town.... Who know's maybe both race sites next year could possible be National events.... I'm sure boths site will be great this year..... Maybe the Spiderman boat will show up so we could have a shot at them..... |
