p-5 boats

would a solid 1980 24 carrara make a good p-5 race boat?been thinking about it for a while.Boat has a 454-450 hp trs runs about 65 mph.just needs to be upgraded alittle.

Great boat , that's the same boat Chris from the papa dukes races but he has a bad boy engine in his. But great boat post pics
