Rule enfiorcement is a good thing! Without it......what's the point of having a rule book? I look forward to the outcome of the meeting in Ft Lauderdale in regards to SBI/APBA... Thank you for taking the time to respond... |
Re: Racing # Designations Poll
Shark, I have no PM's yet. I need 10 equipment owners support in writing (e-mail or PM printout) form to present it and I am leaving tomorrow.
If I do present it, it will b for the 07 season and beyond |
Re: Racing # Designations Poll
Thanks Scott!
As I stated all along, "only if the majority of the racers wanted it" they should ask for it. This was just my opinion, and felt that it would make things more uniform. It's up to them to make the change! 28 responses in favor but no one wants to back it up? Oh well..... Thanks anyway Scott! |

Just to answer that, P-Class was its own class as was A, B, C,D,F,& S. P= "Pro Stock" as in the Insanity boat: And yes, that is the SHARKEY logo to the left of the P... ;) :D |

If I do present it, it will b for the 07 season and beyond I PM'd you on this recommendation and others on Jan 4th at 9:40 p.m CST. I noticed you did not confirm receipt nor have you read it according to my unconfirmed receipts list. I'll bring a hard copy to you in Ft Lauderdale if you need it...just let me know. Sean |

You probably won't get this since I think you're already on the road. I'll bring a hard copy to Ft Lauderdale. Sean |
Re: Racing # Designations Poll
Update.
Scott B mentioned this at the SBI/APBA P-class meeting...since I seem to have been the only owner that supported it, it was not voted on, thus the number panels will not change. Sean |

Alrighty then! Thank you Sean for the update and ScottB for following through to present it!
Now all we can hope for is that they enforce the Rules on the number panels so the boats are identifiable and they all look uniform.. White Backgrounds with Black Numbers or vice versa. Just to give you an example of why I was suggesting a reduction of the P. Per the SBI Rule Book the numbers equate to: P5-2 = almost 5 feet long X 26 inches in height P5-25 = 6 feet 4 inches long X 26 inches in height P5-257 = 7 feet 9 inches long X 26 inches in height Hap P Racing!!! :drink: |
