Mercury announcement
Mercury Racing will once again support the Offshore Super Series (OSS) with a $150,000 contingency prize purse for the 2006 racing season. The purse is to reward racers who use Mercury Racing-approved outboards and sterndrives in OSS National Series events in OSS Cat Lite, OSS Vee, OSS Vee Lite and OSS Cat Outboard class competition.

Jim G and the Mercury staff thanks for your ongoing support, and the mercury money is greatly appreciated. Hopefully Wil and LArry will let us have more of it this year!

We agree with John,Mercury does an outstanding job with race support.The Mercury staff will get you racing one way or another.John,who are you kidding,Wild Ride led the point for three quaters of the year and never finished out of the podium until the "SPINOUT".Its going to be a tough year.

Right, Randy? The only gripe we have: Without the splendid on-site Mercury support, Typhoon would have never made it off the docks at all last season and would have saved a lot of precious fuel .... The Mercury guys ponyed up several times to assist some of the voolunteer patrol boats too. Great guys that go to the max.
