Just got back from the races. It was a georgeous day for a race. St. Cloud is always a good time.

What's the word on Joe Boxer, everyone's okay I hope. They spun out about halfway through the race.

Wow Nick can't believe you caught that shot of the Skater. We were watching it from the scoring Pier when it went by us and all of the sudden it made a U-turn! It dug in pretty hard on the transom and stopped. They were very lucky it wasn't worse.

Glad you posted some pix, feels great to see that race season has started again, and the cold season is gone.

Looks like the race was a success.
Too bad I couldn't make it. Family emergency kept me busy all weekend.
I did drive by the lake Sunday afternoon though. Saw all the spectators. Lake looked like it was real flat. Usually it's wipped up by the wind this early in the season.

Congrat's to all!

Thanks everyone, the pics are my pleasure.

Marc, thanks. I wish my camera was faster, though. I saw him coming in really hot and tight and saw the spin coming. I pushed the shutter as fast as I could, but the camera delay killed the shot. I hope those guys are okay. I saw them walking around on the deck, and then idled off the course, so I believe they're okay.

Anyway, did anyone get caught in the I-4 Westbound mess on the way back?

Here are a few more for good measure.

Sorry we missed you Nick, we snuck off at an exit on I-4 and went souuth to 60 over to 75, wasn't too bad. I'd rather be lost on backroads than sitting in traffic. Where was the problem?

It started somewhere just east of Lakeland, and continued all the way to about 275. What a mess. We got on and off the highway and did make good headway. I feel sorry for those who stayed on.

Anyway, too bad we didn't run into eachother. Next time. :)
