You may have read before about my friends son Tanner. He is a 7 year old from Florida who just had major surgery to remove a cancerous brain tumor. Now, he has a long road ahead with all the kemo treatments that he will have to go through.****See page 2 for his update***** There is an upcoming charity auction in which I have donated my 50 Bertram & crew for 2 days of fishing.
I have been asked if I could sell 200 raffle tickets @ $20 per ticket for a vacation house in Marathon. The owner will work out with the winner what week (Saturday to Saturday) will work best. It has a deep water dock for up to a 50 footer and is located at mile marker 50. You can see complete specs at www.vrbo.com/70014
If I can sell all 200 tickets here, one of us WOULD be the winner.

Ok, here we go!
Just to be crystal clear, this raffle is for one week (to be worked out with the flexible property owner) in a canal front, 3 year old house that sleeps 6-8 people, located near mile marker 50 in Marathon FL at Sombrero Beach. It has deep water and can handle a 50' boat. See www.vrbo.com/70014
Only 200 tickets will be sold only to OSO members.

I will be handling the raffle. When I receive your payment or faxed copy of the check your sending (203 637-8126), I will pick out of a bowl the number of random ticket stubs you have purchaced. I have been posting the name and numbers in my second thread. At the NYC poker run on the 17th of June, Billy Frenz will pick a ticket out of a bowl and I will ask him to post the winning number.
I really don't need the extra paperwork but it's for a good cause.
I will set up an account at the Bank Of New York in Riverside CT today & will deposit all the money there. Once the 200 tickets have been sold & the checks clear, I will send one check to Jim Sierra who is organizing all of the raffles and auctions for Tanner.

********************6/13 update************* The surgery went ok but it has left 7 year old Tanner partially paralized on the left side and his left eye is crossed inward. The tumor was tangled in the spinal stem in his skull. The treatments have already managed to make him loose all of his hair but he is in good spirits and is looking forward to getting back on the water as soon as he can. He has a long, hard road ahead with massive amounts of chemo.

Gotcha! I just wanted to draw attention to my sticky thread "please read......marathon waterfront vacation house raffle".
This is to benefit a 7 year old boy going through cancerous brain tumor surgery/chemo (kemo ?) treatments.
It's only $20 per ticket & I still have to sell about 120 out of 200.
The OSO winning ticket will be drawn this weekend at the NYC poker run.
Please see my thread. On the top of page 2, there is all the info on the house and updated info on little Tanners recovery.
Tanner and I really need your help with the last 120 tickets

Please read the thread. There is also a post with all the names and ticket stub numbers I have been randomly drawn out of a bucket when people pay via paypal or fax me a copy of the check their sending.

Im not collecting the money or given out the tickets dave is his concacts are above in one of the frirst posts i donated last week and glanced at it today and saw that there was about 80 tickets left so i posted it in the racing milling area hopeing to see if some people could help out.
thanks now lets get these tickets sold before the weekend.
